The Malbec variety arrived in Argentina in the middle of the 19th century straight from the prestigious French wine region of Bordeaux. The variety achieved Grandeur in Argentina at the end of the 20th century and is know considered to be one of the most important varieties in "South America's Europe" and has even became the national variety. Malbec is the most widespread variety in the country and has turned into a main role player in the market of one of the world's largest wine producers today.

Malbec is very  sensitive  to cold conditions and  utilizes itself best in warm regions, but of course in every region the wines receive a different character if as varietal wines or as blends. In Argentina the Malbec wines are dark with scents of flowers and ripe plums and with eminent tannins, a correct balance and a velvety texture.

As a blend or varietal wine, the complex and sensitive Malbec is enjoying a revival in the past years also in Israel, and in honor of the international Malbec day we have grouped for you some of the finest of Argentinian Malbec, those imported to Israel along with some fascinating surprises which you won't be able to taste anywhere else!

You are invited to join us in the Malbec celebrations.

The full list of wines will be published later on.
