Redish in color with light brims. Powerful black fruit (plums, blueberry) aromas. Sweet spices, mint, sage and a delightful combination of high quality oak which expresses a perfect balance between wood and wine. On the palate black fruit along with orange peel, coffee, mocca and spices like thyme and basil. Full bodied with firm and expressive tannins. An extended finish of roasted oak and coffee flavours.
14 months in mostly French and some American oak barells, most of them new.
