The only international wine competition held in Israel, approved by the OIV – the world's leading wine organization.

During the competition, held yearly mostly in November, hundreds of wines and spirits are judged by senior wine assessors, from Israel and abroad. Judges include expert wine writers, sommeliers, and buyers, leading wine makers and leading public opinion figures. TERRAVINO which in 2015 celebrated its tenth competition has long become the main international wine event in Israel and in recent years serves as the main display window for Israeli wines abroad, and receives unaccounted for exposure.
