מתיישן על שיירי השמרים למשך 4 שנים לפחות ומייצר מורכבות יוצאת דופן ועומק נפלא.
התסיסה טבעית ונעשית גם בחביות עץ אלון ישנות גדולות (600 ליטר) וגם במיכלי נירוסטה.
יינות האחוזה עשירים מאד בחומצה מאלית המסייעת פלאים ליכולת ההתיישנות של יינות האחוזה והופכת אותם ל"בני אלמוות"

וזאת מאחר שאין עידוד לתסיסה מלולאקטית.

A truly outstanding 100% Chenin Blanc sparkling wine from the Loire, from the chalky white soils of Vouvray in fact, that would put many a (grande marque?) Champagne in the shade! Years of 'sur lattes' ageing has endowed this wine with rich biscuity intensity as well as grace, no doubt thanks to the wine's biodynamic fruit. Worth every penny.

Very evocative, typical nose here, minerally, with a hint of volcanic character. This certainly holds promise! On the palate it starts off with a floral style, fairly light and elegant, although with a lovely chalky-volcanic minerality reflecting that found on the nose. A fine broad style though, fresh,
with notably fresh acidity and good finesse. 17.5-18+/20

The exuberant, lush yet (at 12% alcohol) delightfully buoyant Gunderloch 2009 Riesling trocken once again represents a fine value, mingling lemon oil and honey, white peach and crushed stone, with hints of lemon pip, citrus rinds, and wood smoke accenting an otherwise juicy, sustained finish. This should perform well for 3-5 years, not that many wine lovers are likely to put this prognosis or wine to the test.

 Emrich Schonleber Riesling Fruhlingsplatzchen Spatlese 2007

כרם Fruhlingsplatzchen תלול ומכיל בעיקר אדמות צפחה אדומה ואבנים. החלקה מייצרת יינות נגישים כבר בצעירותם, נדיבים, שופעים ומעודנים, בעלי גוף מלא ותיבול, עוצמה מינראלית ואלגנטיות.במהלך יישון היין החומציות הופכת ליותר ויותר ייחודית.

smells of peaches, red raspberry, lemon, diverse flowers, and a hint of petrol. Oily and rich yet bright and refreshing on the palate, its persistent salinity adds to a sense of invigoration, and its residual sugar underscores the fruit character and creaminess of texture yet is scarcely noticeable in the wafting finish, where luscious honey, peach, and pit fruit distillates vie for attention. This luscious, superbly elegant, impeccably-balanced wine should be worth following for 15 or more years.

Emrich-Schonleber Riesling Halenberg Spatlese 2007

כרם Halenberg תלולה מאוד, אדמות עם תכולת צפחה כחולה וקוורץ, מעט חימר וחצץ המייצרת ענבים קטנים יותר מהרגיל המכילים ארומות וטעמים חזקים יותר.
החלקה מייצרת יינות מינראליים מזוקקים, טהורים ומעודנים המכילים ארומות של אשכולית בשלה, פירות טרופיים, תבלינים ועשבי תיבול הטיפוסיים לחלקה.

Pear and nut oils figure prominently in the nose of Schonleber’s 2007 Monzinger Halenberg Riesling Spatlese, which adds lime, nectarine, melon, and red fruits on the palate. Satisfying succulence and refreshment as well as subtle mineral suggestions inform a long finish, though not one comparable in elegance, refinement, or complexity to that of this year’s corresponding Fruhlingsplatzchen.
This should hold well for at least 12-15 years.

ארומות מקסימות של פרחי אביב, פירות וליקר קירש, טבק, זיתים, שזיפים ומרווה.
החיך מתפוצצת בפרי דחוס, עוצמתי ואלגנטי.
בעל גוף בינוני מלא, חומציות גבוהה ואופי של יין מאקלים קר.
