The winery was founded in 2000 and is owned by Lenny Recanati and Uri Shaked. The winery recently announced the opening of a new facility in Ramat Dalton, neighboring their quality vineyards in the north. Recanati's chief vintners Gil Shatsberg and Ido Lewinsohn cultivate mainly Mediterranean varieties. The winery produces good wines of which the Reserve Mediterranean series is of especially high quality.
