The winery was founded by four wine-growing families in 1999 with the goal of crafting wines that express the high quality of the Mount Tabor region vineyards. With the expansion of the winery, new vineyards were planted in several more of Israel's quality terroirs. CEO is Oren Sela, fourth generation of a family of farmers from the Mount Tabor region. Chief winemaker is Arie Nesher and he is assisted by Or Nidbach. Head agronomist is Michal Ackerman.
