30 (Plus) Wineries to visit in Israel
Wine is much more fun when tasted in the winery. Taste the wine and its story, meet the people behind the wine, feel its origins, view the grapes growing, experience the terroir. Here is a selection of wineries for an enjoyable and unforgettable visit.
Tzora Vineyards – Israel's new rock star
Tzora Vineyards is one of Israel's most "terroiristic" wineries. The grapes come from several habitats, albeit with varying soils and meso-climates, all of them located in the Judean Hills "Shoresh" vineyard.

(Competitions and wines are listed in random order):

Syrah du Monde

Many Israeli wine experts believe that pointing out at one red grape variety as most suitable for wine in Israel's various wine regions; it would definitely be the Syrah grape. It seems that the results of the 2017 Syrah du Monde competition, the only competition dedicated solely to the Syrah/Shiraz grape, strengthen this notion.
